Two new products that look pretty interesting…
Akai APC40: a fully customizable dedicated control surface designed for use with Ableton Live…strangely resembling some of the trademark characteristics of the monome.

MOTU BPM: an MPC style virtual instrument with integrated step sequencer designed to make your beats more slamtastic. Also interesting is the inclusion of an E-mu SP1200 emulation mode. I have a feeling it applies some type of bit-reduction/filtering combo to crunchify your sounds. I wonder if any of these new features/EFX will be available in an update to the Mach5 users that most likely funded the development of this product?
